Ph.D. student in Science Communication at the University of the West of England. My research focuses on vaccine images used for advocacy that are shared among Twitter networks. I'm the founder and project manager of SciHashtag, a collection of Twitter hashtags used by academics and science communicators. I'm interested in science communication, images used for advocacy, visual communication, social media, geeky things, science cats, and hunting chocolate!
I'm an expert in live tweeting and content curation of science events, and I gained experience as a science writer, too. I'm also a Storify specialist and coauthor of "Twitter per ricercatori". I wrote for newspaper, webzine, and blogs, and I have my own blog in which I share some issues of my Ph.D. research and science communication tips.
